7 Important Items to Pack in Your Wedding Limo

The limousine ride to your wedding should be a relaxing, luxurious experience for you and your bridal party, but being underprepared can put a damper on the moment.  To ensure your big day is stress-free and hassle-free, you may want to consider packing these seven key items in your limousine.

1. Makeup Bag

Having a makeup touch-up kit handy on your wedding day is important, but there are a few specific items – besides your makeup – you’ll want to pack as well, including:

  • A mirror
  • Eye drops
  • Extra hair pins
  • Chapstick
  • Hand lotion

2. A Change of Clothes (including flat shoes)

While brides always look stunning in their gowns, they aren’t exactly the most functional of outfits. Pack a change of clothes, just in case your wedding festivities take you on an adventure that require more comfortable clothing.  Flat shoes are always a good idea, even if you forego a change of clothes, since walking through soft grass or across gravel is grueling work in heels, and you never know where your wedding pictures will take you.

3. Acetaminophen

A headache can completely ruin the moment. Keep something for headache relief tucked away in your limousine. Even if you don’t, somebody in your bridal party will probably need it at some point on your big day.

4. Camera

This is important, especially if you plan on going phone-free for the day. Bring a camera to capture all the fun you have inside your luxury limousine on the way to your wedding events. All the behind-the-scenes action deserves to be recorded, too!

5. Tissues

Your wedding day is bound to be an emotional event, for you and your wedding party. A box of tissues is never a bad idea, as you can use them to wipe away tears and still keep your makeup in check. You’ll probably end up passing them around, so you may want to bring two boxes, just in case.

6. Water

Nervousness and anticipation will leave you with a dry mouth, and it’s important to stay hydrated. Be sure to pack a few bottles of water, or check with your wedding limo service to see if it will be provided for you and your guests.

7. Champagne

What better way to top off your ceremony than with a toast? And we aren’t talking the big, public toast at the reception. A small, intimate toast in your limousine with your newly-wed spouse and your wedding party can create a moment to remember with your closest friends and loved ones, so pack a bottle of champagne and enough glasses to go around.

Before your big day arrives, speak with your wedding limo service about the possibility of packing your limousine in advance with these absolute must-have items.
